Veterinary Radiation Oncologist
Dr. White obtained her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Following veterinary school, she completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Ontario Veterinary College, followed by a one year medical oncology internship. Due to her interest in all aspects of veterinary oncology, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the position of radiation oncology intern at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. White then completed a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is board certified with the American College of Veterinary Radiology in the discipline of radiation oncology. She is very excited to be part of The Oncology Service team.
Dr. White’s primary clinical interests include stereotactic radiation therapy, treatment of central nervous system and sinonasal tumors and having a multimodality treatment approach to treating cancer in pets that will provide them with a good quality of life.
She currently lives in the Northern Virginia area with her cat, Jabba, who she adopted during veterinary school. Since she is originally from Canada, Dr. White is a huge fan of all things related to hockey.
