I have previous management experience from my formal industry with Norfolk Southern Railroad INC. I worked as a conductor, locomotive engineer and held multiple supervisory roles. The love I have for animals drew me into a strong urge to come into veterinary medicine. The compassion that I hold for animals is everlasting.
I have been in veterinary medicine for 11 years. I started off in general practice and then transitioned to ER/UC where I excelled very well. After some time in vet med, I grew a passion to learn practice management. I completed my AAS for my LVT program back in 2021. I knew that I wanted to continue my education towards business management, so I enrolled in my BBA. I am planning on sitting for my boards in the Spring of 2025. I have a passion for veterinary management and supporting my staff to my fullest extent. My long term goals are to complete my MBA and to complete my CVPM.
In my downtime, I love spending time with the woman who stole my heart from the word go, my wife Savannah and her 3 children. I have a 14-year-old Shih-Tzu "Buster" that is my side kick. And we have a house full of cats: Orangejello, Boogers, Tilly, and Binx. And a rowdy Siberian Husky Tundra. Needless to say, we love our animals. We love spending time on Lake Anna and being together as a family. I also enjoy my sports: Boston Red Sox and LET'S GO HOKIES.
I'm very family oriented and love spending time with them. I was born and raised in Amherst County, Virginia. I am the youngest out of 3 boys. We are still very close even though we are older and live farther apart. We love getting together for family events, cook outs, on the water, and beach vacations.
Our hospital will be closed from September 8–12 for unexpected facility repairs. We’re working quickly to get everything resolved. In the meantime, our team will be monitoring our email and voicemail remotely.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, we can’t wait to welcome you and your pets back soon!
