Veterinary Assistant
A native of Leesburg, Virginia, Nicki moved to the Richmond area in 2003 and now considers it home. In 2005, she began working in veterinary medicine and for over 16 years she has worked in various positions in the primary veterinary field. In early 2022, one of her beloved dogs was diagnosed with cancer, and it was the wonderful care, consideration and compassion she received at TOS that had her looking into a position with specialty oncology care. When an opening presented itself in November 2022, she jumped at the chance to make a change for herself by joining the team. She wanted to be able to help others navigate the often emotional and overwhelming options presented when their pet is dealing with cancer. A perpetual homebody, when not working Nicki enjoys spending time at home with her husband and 4 spoiled kitties. She and her husband also enjoy tabletop games, PC/console games, trying out new recipes and spending time with friends doing all the above.
