Licensed Veterinary Technician
Theresa was born and raised in Matoaca, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology. During her years in Miami, she worked with several exotic animals at an educational facility, which led her to seek a career in the veterinary field after graduation. She started as a receptionist in general practice over 20 years ago. After a few years she became an assistant and then decided to return to school to become a licensed veterinary technician. Theresa graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 2017 and worked as an LVT in general practice and in the emergency room. In 2021, she transitioned into specialty practice with The Oncology Service. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time in nature. Currently she has one cat, Mako.
