Veterinary Medical Oncologist
Kathleen Tidd is a Pennsylvania native who completed her dual degree undergraduate work at Pennsylvania State University before receiving her veterinary degree at North Carolina State University. She completed a year-long rigorous rotating internship in a Pittsburgh private practice which solidified her love of oncology. After becoming boarded in medical oncology through a residency at the University of Pennsylvania she accepted a position with The Oncology Service in Virginia. Some of her main professional interests include pathology, round cell tumors, and guiding pet owners through complicated treatment decisions. Kathleen Tidd lives with her husband, two sons, and daughter. They have two very cuddly mixed breed dogs, Tina and Hati, who are much less fierce than they appear to be.
